Dr. Anna Hoeft is a long-time veterinarian in the Upstate of South Carolina. Originally from the Carolinas, Dr. Hoeft attended UNC-Chapel Hill for her undergraduate degree in Public Health and then acquired her MS in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. She then attended Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in Alabama and graduated in 2004. She knew that she wanted to pursue emergency medicine upon graduation and completed an internship at Veterinary Specialists of Rochester in Upstate NY. Her family had the opportunity to move back to South Carolina with her husband’s job in 2006. She continued practicing emergency medicine at the Animal Emergency Clinic starting in 2006, now known as being part of Upstate Vet, Greenville. Starting in 2017, she began working at a general practice until she rejoined our team in 2021. Dr. Hoeft and her husband, Stephen, stay busy with their daughter’s love of dancing, their son’s basketball endeavors, and enjoying family time with their pack of German Shorthaired Pointers.
