Dr. Ty Smith was raised in Charlotte, NC. He attended Morehouse College where he graduated with a degree in biology. He earned his doctorate of veterinary medicine from North Carolina State University in 2020. He then completed a small animal rotating internship at BluePearl Veterinary Partners in Atlanta, GA. This is where he discovered his love for emergency medicine. He lives with his fiancée Kelcy, their cats Vivian and Leo, and their dogs Olive and Kratos. Outside of work, he enjoys going to zoos and aquariums, playing video games, cooking, and working out.
