Dr. Sarah Rogers is originally from Pennsylvania. She attended Ohio Wesleyan University and graduated with a degree in Zoological Sciences in 2013. In order to pursue her zoological interests, she attended University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with a certificate in aquatic animal medicine as well in 2017. Following veterinary school, Dr. Rogers pursued advanced training and completed a one-year small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at Animal Emergency and Specialty Center in Knoxville, TN from 2017-2018. Dr. Rogers followed her new interest in emergency medicine and was an emergency veterinarian at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Huntersville, NC from 2018-2021.
Dr. Rogers’ professional interests include soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine, and exotic animal medicine (zoo and companion medicine). Outside of work, she enjoys cuddling with her miniature pig (Mayonnaise), playing with her one-year-old daughter, Zyla, and sons, Izaiah (9yrs) and Zion (5yrs), and spending time working out and playing volleyball with her husband, Raymond.
