A native of New Jersey, Dr. Amanda LaRose received her DVM from St. George’s University. She completed a small animal rotating internship following graduation at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in New Jersey and stayed on for another year as an emergency clinician. Her career brought her to Ohio, where she completed 2 years as a facility veterinarian and study director at QTest Labs, LLC, working on cardiovascular drug safety and efficacy. She finished a 3-year residency in veterinary cardiology at the Animal Medical Center in NYC and became board certified in July 2022. Her clinical interests include congenital heart disease, interventional procedures, and palliative care of end stage heart disease patients.
When Dr. LaRose isn’t wedding planning, she’s enjoying life in Greenville with her fiancé and first born pup, Mace. You can often find Dr. LaRose and her fiancé on the couch watching college game day. Go Dawgs!
