Dr. Baysinger grew up in Greenville. Her passion for veterinary medicine stems from a childhood riding horses. She received her degree in Animal Science from the University of Georgia. She earned her DVM from Ross University and completed her clinical year at Auburn University. She then completed a small animal general internship in Memphis, TN and a small animal surgical internship in Rochester, NY. She returned to South Carolina to complete a residency in small animal surgery at VCA Animal Specialty Center of South Carolina in Columbia. Dr. Baysinger earned her board-certification from the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2014.
Dr. Baysinger practiced in Atlanta before joining Upstate Vet in 2021.
Outside of work Dr. Baysinger lives with her husband, Bryan, and their yellow Lab, Hobbes. She enjoys running, hiking, horseback riding, baking, exploring the outdoors, and enjoying Lake Keowee.
