Dr Julia Medland received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University, where she also completed a small animal rotating internship. Following this, Dr Medland completed a medical oncology residency at the University of Minnesota, where she remained for a year as clinical faculty.
Her clinical interests include lymphoma, osteosarcoma, and multidisciplinary cancer care. She prioritizes maintaining excellent quality of life and dignifying the human animal bond for her patients and their families.
Outside of work, Dr. Medland enjoys spending time with her husband, their cat, family, and friends. She enjoys backcountry camping, hiking, reading, and napping.
