Dr. Katherine Scotti received her Bachelors in Science from Florida Atlantic University graduating Summa Cum Laude. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis and was awarded membership to the Phi Zeta Honor Society in 2015. Following a small animal rotating internship at Texas A&M University, Dr. Scotti completed a three-year Emergency and Critical Care Residency at Michigan State University. With Dr. Scotti joining Upstate Vet, she will be helping to establish the first veterinary critical care service in the Upstate area. Her clinical interests include polytrauma, management of sepsis, mechanical ventilation, and dialysis.  She enjoys the challenge of critical cases and thrives in their recovery. Outside of work, Dr. Scotti enjoys spending time with her husband and five dogs, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time outdoors.
