Dr. Kristi Quintero was born in Florida and raised in Texas. She attended the University of Florida where she obtained a degree in zoology with a minor in non-profit organizations in 2017. She then went on to Colorado State University where she graduated with a master's degree in toxicology in 2018 and her veterinary degree in 2022. This is where she discovered her passion for emergency medicine as well as internal medicine and exotics/wildlife. She came to Upstate Vet knowing it would be a great place for her to grow as a new veterinarian. Outside of work, she enjoys working out, spending time in nature, and cuddling up with her dog, Chaos, and her two cats, Booger and Colby.
