Dr. Margaret Cassandra was raised near Atlanta, Georgia and received her undergraduate and doctorate degrees from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). After earning her veterinary degree, she moved to Columbus, Ohio for a year of small animal rotating internship at the Ohio State University. She found her interest in Emergency medicine at that time, and stayed for second year to pursue an Emergency & Critical Care internship. Although she enjoyed the Midwest, she missed the warm, sunny Southeast and moved to the Upstate to continue her career as an emergency doctor and to be back closer to family. Dr. Cassandra enjoys good food, naps, and exercise in all forms, from biking and hiking to organized sports to trekking around Greenville with her dog named Bruce Wayne.
