Dr. Monica Tschosik received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida. Following a small animal rotating medicine and surgery internship at Louisiana State University and an additional year in a cardiology specialty internship in Los Angeles, California, Dr. Tschosik began a four year residency at the University of Florida. During this residency she received specialty training in the medical and interventional management of canine, feline, equine, food animal, and exotic animal cardiac disease. Her clinical interests include arrhythmias, congenital heart disease, and interventional procedures. She enjoys her career because medical and interventional cardiology can greatly improve the quality of life for the patient and empower the owner to monitor and care for their pets with fewer unknowns. Outside of work, Dr. Tschosik enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, dancing, yoga, and hiking/spending time outdoors with her dog.
